Questions about Dentasonic system
IPC is Dentasonic’s way of defining the IPR treatment system, from Interproximal Reduction becomes Interproximal enamel Correction.
Following our prescription is important to perform a good IPC correctly, to avoid excessive enamel reduction, and to avoid injuring the patient.
Our IPC system is absolutely NON-invasive for the patient, as our Strips are specially designed not to injure soft parts and for a more comfortable treatment, both for the patient and the Doctor.
The stripping process remove both the protective pellicle and interdental tooth structure.
Remineralising the surface is essential to protect against attack from bacteria contained in dental plaque and also to reduce risk of sensitivity and staining.
